Ingredients

  • 7 slices bread, white
  • 1/2 pound cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 pound swiss cheese shreddded
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 whole eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage cooked
  • 1/4 cup green bell peppers diced
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion diced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms sliced

Method

  • Grease 9x13 Cake Pan.
  • Place bread slices in bottem of pan (I leave the crusts on).
  • Cover entire bottom of the pan.
  • Sprinkle cheese on the bread.
  • Put on whatever other toppings you may have (meat & vegetables etc..)on top of the cheese.
  • Combine milk, beaten eggs, & salt.
  • Pour over top of other ingredients.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake next morning in 350F (180C) oven for 45 to 60 minutes.
  • You can add any kind of breakfast meat you may want (Ham, Bacon etc) more or less this easily adjusts to your tastes.
