- Meat
- 1 large Beef Brisket
- 1/2 bottle soy sauce
- 1 can beef consomme
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Dash of garlic salt
Method
- Mix soy sauce, consomme, garlic salt, and lemon juice and marinate Beef Brisket in it.
- Refrigerate for 24 hours.
- Next day: Pour off liquid, sprinkle meat very generously with paprika.
- Wrap in heavy aluminum foil and bake at 250 degrees for 4 to 5 hours or until tender.
- Cool completely, slice thinly across the grain.
- Prepare sauce: Mix together all ingredients for sauce and cook 10 minutes.
- Pour sauce over sliced meat and wrap back in foil.
- Bake at 300F (150C) for 1 hour.
