Ingredients
- 1 fryer, cut up
- 3 Tbsp. fat
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. vinegar
- 2 heaping Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
Method
- Brown chicken in hot fat.
- Place in casserole dish.
- Brown onion in remaining fat.
- Add other ingredients; simmer 30 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serves 6.
