Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 8 eggs
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- grated rind of orange
Method
- Separate eggs.
- Beat yolks until foamy, then add half of the sugar and beat again.
- Add orange juice and grated rind.
- Beat whites and add the cream of tartar.
- Add rest of sugar to whites. Add yolks to whites and fold in flour.
- Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in a moderate oven.
