Ingredients
- 4 large onions
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
Method
- Peel and slice onions 1/4 inch thick.
- Separate rings and chill in a bowl of ice water 1 hour.
- Drain onions; dry thoroughly.
