Ingredients

  • 375 ml whole-wheat flour 1 1/2 cup
  • 125 ml rolled oats 1/2 cup
  • 50 ml Omega Crunch shelled flax 1/4 cup
  • 50 ml wheat germ 1/4 cup
  • 50 ml sesame seeds 1/4 cup
  • 50 ml flaked unsweetened coconut 1/4
  • cup
  • 1 ml salt 1/4 tsp
  • 1 ml baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • 30 ml dry milk powder 2 tbsp
  • 50 ml honey 1/4 cup
  • 125 ml butter 1/2 cup
  • 75 ml cold water 1/3 cup
  • 5 ml vanilla 1 tsp

Method

  • In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients. Add just enough wet ingredients to the dry ingredients to mix it evenly, then continue adding slowly to avoid clumps. Blend until dough can be packed into a ball. Roll onto floured board until 5 mm (1/8 inch) thick. Cut into whatever shapes you like. Bake on a greased cookie sheet in a 160 C (325 F) oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
