Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 30 drops hot sauce
  • 15 oz. jar olives
  • 2 Tbsp. olive juice

Method

  • Drain juice from olives, reserving 2 tablespoons.
  • Combine cheese, flour, margarine and hot sauce.
  • Mix well.
  • Add enough olive juice to moisten.
  • Wrap small piece of cheese around each olive.
  • Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Do not overbake or cheese will dry out.
