Ingredients
- 4 slices buttered toast
- 1/2 c. seedless raisins
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. canned milk
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- In a 1 1/2-quart buttered baking dish, place the toast and toss the raisins over the toast.
- To the eggs, add 1/4 cup sugar, salt, milk, water and vanilla.
- Pour this mixture into the dish and let stand 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with the 4 teaspoons of sugar and cinnamon combination.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
