Ingredients
- 2 unbaked pastry shells (9-inch)
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 1 1/2 c. whole milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1 stick butter
- nutmeg
Method
- Mix together sugar and flour.
- Add cream, milk, vanilla and salt.
- Blend with mixer and pour into pastry shells.
- Melt butter and dribble over top.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Bake 10 minutes at 425°.
- Reduce to 350° and bake 50 minutes.
