Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
- whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- raisins (optional)
- 1 egg
- buttermilk
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. honey
Method
- Place oatmeal in blender.
- Blend until a fine powder.
- Measure and add enough flour to make 2 cups.
- Mix oatmeal-flour mixture with baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Break egg into cup.
- Add enough buttermilk until cup is full.
- Place this mixture, oil and honey in blender.
- Blend.
- Add flour mixture.
- Blend again.
