Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 3/4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted And Slightly Cooled
  • 1/4 cups Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cups Maple Syrup

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°F and prep a large baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, add rolled oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Whisk to combine.
  • In a separate bowl, add butter, applesauce, vanilla extract and maple syrup. Whisk to combined and then add to dry ingredients. Stir the mixture until just combined.
  • Scoop dough into 12 even balls on to the baking sheet. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until slightly golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool before serving.
