Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese old, sharp with lots of flavor
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian parsley fresh minced or dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit baking mix (homemade, see link below, or Bisquick), buttermilk and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Mix together until just combined using a wooden spoon.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and spoon onto a greased baking pan that will fit in your NuWave or FlavorWave oven.
  • Flatten slightly if desired.
  • Bake in your NuWave oven at #8 setting until the biscuits begin to brown.
  • In a small bowl mix together the melted butter, garlic and onion powders and parsley.
  • Brush this mixture over the top of each biscuit.
  • Serve warm, 2 biscuits per serving for 6 servings or 3 biscuits per serving for 4.
