Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 14 tbsp butter, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 oz blanched almonds, finely chopped
  • None None sugar, for dusting

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. For the dough, place flour in a medium bowl and rub in butter. Add remaining ingredients and knead together on a clean surface until mixture comes together. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake 15 mins or until light golden brown. While still hot, toss balls in sugar. Cool slightly and serve.
