Ingredients
- --1 lb. ground beef
- --1 onion, finely chopped
- --1/2 cup bread crumbs
- --1 egg
- --3/4 tsp. salt
- --1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Combine ingredients in mixer. Form into patties, about 3" across and 1/2" deep. Fry in olive oil or vegetable oil, until browned on both sides.
- Pour enough water into the skillet to almost cover the patties. Add one beef boullion cube. Boil rapidly for about 10 min.
- Serve with potatoes, a vegetable, and brown gravy if desired.
