Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless beef, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
  • 1-1/2 tsp. ginger/garlic paste
  • 1 tsp. green chili paste
  • 1-1/2 tsp. salt
  • Pinch turmeric
  • 2 Potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate

Method

  • Wash beef and combine with ginger/garlic paste, green chili paste, salt, and turmeric.
  • Add 1 cup of water and cover; place over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
  • Turn down the heat and cook until the beef is tender and water has dried up.
