Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. xxx sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Method
- Cream the butter well.
- Add sugar and salt.
- Cream thoroughly. Add flour and blend in completely.
- Shape dough into 2 rolls approximately 1 to 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
- Wrap individually in wax paper and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- Cut and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
- (They do not spread.)
- Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Cool completely before frosting.
