Ingredients

  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 c. shredded lettuce
  • 1 c. diced tomatoes
  • 1 c. finely shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine

Method

  • Brown ground beef with onion.
  • Drain the grease.
  • Add taco seasoning and prepare according to package directions.
  • Let cool. Spread sour cream in the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Next, layer the meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and onions (optional).
  • Serve with your favorite taco sauce and dip with nachos.
