Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk or more
Method
- Preheat pan to 375.
- Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Cut in shortening.
- Add egg and milk.
- Knead lightly and roll out 1/2" thick.
- Cut in triangle.
- Bake on griddle or electric fry pan about 5 minutes each side.
