Ingredients
- 4 qt. cut green beans
- 1 c. dry mustard
- 2 Tbsp. celery salt
- 3 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1 c. flour
- 4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 1/2 qt. vinegar
Method
- Cut the beans about 1-inch long; boil for 1/2 hour in salted water, then drain water.
- To the vinegar, add sugar and other ingredients, except the flour.
- Mix everything well; put on beans. Mix water and flour; put on beans.
- Cook slowly.
