Ingredients

  • 2 bunches green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 bunch celery
  • 4 to 6 oz. ham, diced
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • salt and pepper
  • beef bouillon
  • 2 lb. fresh chopped mushrooms
  • 3 c. bread crumbs

Method

  • Saute green onions, celery and ham in butter until vegetables are tender.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  • Add bread crumbs.
  • Add the beef bouillon if moisture is needed before adding to a roast.
  • This is really good with a tenderloin or good prime roast.
  • I like to put roast and stuffing in a browning bag.
  • It really absorbs and holds the juices.
