Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. celery
  • 3 boxes mostaccioli
  • 2 cans ready made spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
  • 2 large cans tomato sauce
  • 1 large can mushrooms
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can V-8 juice
  • 1 lb. box Velveeta cheese

Method

  • Cook slowly together until tender, hamburger, onion, green pepper and celery.
  • When thoroughly done, add spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and salt and pepper.
  • Cook mostaccioli according to box directions. Combine with meat mixture.
  • Let stand in refrigerator overnight. The next day add V-8 juice.
  • Mix. Place in a 9 x 13-inch dish.
  • Lay all of cheese, sliced, on top.
  • Bake at 375° until cheese is hot and bubbly and slightly brown, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
