Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 6 oz. oil
- 3 eggs
- 6 oz. sugar
- 3 oz. orange juice
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. liqueur (optional)
- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 oz. sugar
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- few drops lemon juice
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease 10-inch tube baking pan.
- Mix together the first seven ingredients.
- Mix the remaining ingredients together.
- (Keep apple mixture separate.)
- Put 1/2 the batter into the pan.
- Then place sliced apple mixture on top.
- Put remaining batter on top of apples.
- Bake in 350° oven for 60 minutes or until cake seems ready by inserting a toothpick into center of cake.
