Ingredients
- 1 pkg. frozen Molokhiya
- 1 stewing chicken
- 1 onion
- 15 to 20 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. coriander
- cooking oil
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 2 tomatoes
Method
- Thaw molokhiya; set aside.
- In a large pot, boil chicken in water with chicken bouillon.
- In a food processor, blend tomatoes and onion.
- Add this to boiling chicken; let this boil about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Remove chicken and add molokhiya.
- Stir together well.
- In a separate frying pan, fry oil, crushed garlic and coriander until golden.
- Add to boiling molokhiya.
- Serve with pita bread.
