Ingredients
- 3/4 c. melted shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
Method
- Mix ingredients together. Scoop by teaspoon and roll into balls; dip in sugar. Bake at 375° for 8 to 12 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
