Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. cooked carrots
  • 1 c. cooked celery, cut in small pieces
  • 1 c. cooked potato, diced
  • 1 1/4 c. cooked fresh peas (or one 1 lb. can)
  • 1 (13 oz.) can tuna, flaked
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Melt butter; add flour and cook 2 minutes.
  • Add milk slowly, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Add all other ingredients. Put in buttered baking dish and cover with baking powder biscuit dough.
  • Bake 20 minutes at 375°.
  • Makes 6 servings.
