- 4 c. chopped cabbage
- 4 c. chopped green tomatoes
- 4 c. chopped onions
- 6 hot peppers (1/2 red)
- 6 bell peppers (1/2 red)
- 1/2 c. canning salt
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
Method
- Mix first 5 ingredients together, put in refrigerator with 1/2 cup canning salt sprinkled on top.
- Refrigerate overnight.
