Ingredients

  • apples
  • 1 small vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 c. loosely packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. water
  • butter or margarine

Method

  • Wash, then partially peel and core apples.
  • Cut each into 6 to 8 wedges.
  • Stir in pudding and brown sugar.
  • Pour into baking dish with lid.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
  • Drizzle with water and dot with butter.
  • Cook on High for about 20 minutes.
  • Stir; if any apples are still firm, cook a few more minutes until done. Delicious with vanilla ice cream!
