Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
Method
- Cut peppers in half; wash and remove seed and white membrane. Mix ground beef and onion in 1 1/2-quart casserole and cook at Max power for 5 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
- Stir in salt, pepper, rice and half of the tomato sauce.
- Fill pepper halves with mixture.
- Place in glass dish.
- Top each pepper with remaining sauce.
- Cook, covered, at Max power for 8 to 10 minutes or until peppers are tender.
- Makes 4 servings.
