Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. ground oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 lb. uncooked spaghetti

Method

  • Place butter and onion in pan.
  • Heat on Full power for 3 to 4 minutes, until onion is tender.
  • Add beef; cook on Full power for 4 minutes, until beef is no longer pink.
  • Stir twice during cooking time.
  • Add salt, pepper, sauce, water, oregano and basil. Cook on High for 4 minutes.
  • Break spaghetti and stir into sauce and cook 18 to 20 minutes, until spaghetti is tender.
  • Stir 3 times during cooking.
  • If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
