Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. ground oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/4 lb. uncooked spaghetti
Method
- Place butter and onion in pan.
- Heat on Full power for 3 to 4 minutes, until onion is tender.
- Add beef; cook on Full power for 4 minutes, until beef is no longer pink.
- Stir twice during cooking time.
- Add salt, pepper, sauce, water, oregano and basil. Cook on High for 4 minutes.
- Break spaghetti and stir into sauce and cook 18 to 20 minutes, until spaghetti is tender.
- Stir 3 times during cooking.
- If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
