Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber sliced 1/4 inch thick (2 c.)
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin (3/4 c.)
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
Method
- Mix and put in 2 qt. casserole covered.
- Microwave on high 7 - 8 minutes stirring twice until cucumbers are crisp and tender and onion is translucent.
- Ladle into glass jar (rinsed with hot water).
