Ingredients
- 4 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup *
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla *
Method
- Spray inside of a large brown grocery bag with vegetable cooking spray (Pam).
- Pour popped corn into paper bag.
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt.
- Microwave on High 2 1/2 minutes.
- Stir; microwave on High for 2 minutes.
- Stir in soda and add vanilla.
- Pour over popcorn in bag.
- Close bag and shake.
- Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Shake well and microwave for 1 minute more on High.
- Shake well.
- Add additional popcorn salt, if desired.
- Store in airtight container.
