Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. white syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 qt. popped corn

Method

  • Combine first 4 ingredients.
  • Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Microwave on High 2 minutes more.
  • Add baking soda and vanilla.
  • Stir well and pour over the popped corn which has been placed in a very large bowl.
  • Stir to coat evenly.
  • Microwave on High for 45 seconds; stir.
  • Microwave on High for 45 more seconds.
  • Turn out onto cookie sheet to cool.
  • Break into pieces and store in airtight container (if there's any left).
