Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter flavored Crisco
- 1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen corn
- 1 can (4 oz.) green chilies, diced and drained
- 1/3 c. onion, chopped
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. water
- dash of garlic powder
Method
- In 2-quart saucepan melt Crisco.
- Add onions and cook over medium heat until tender.
- Stir in corn, tomato, green chilies, water and garlic powder.
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover and continue cooking for 3 minutes or until hot.
- Yields 4 to 6 servings.
