Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 pkg. taco or enchilada mix
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 can chili beef soup
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 pkg. (8) flour tortillas
- 1 pkg. Cheddar or sharp cheese, grated
Method
- Brown meat and onions; drain.
- Add remaining ingredients, except cheese.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat.
- Stir frequently. Layer in baking dish (9 x 13-inch), alternate tortillas with meat sauce.
- End with meat sauce on top, about 3 layers.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
- Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese.
- Return to oven until cheese is melted.
