Ingredients
- 3 qt. water
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 can Ortega chopped chiles
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme
Method
- In kettle place ingredients.
- Boil and simmer for at least 1 hour.
- Fry 1 quart rice in heavy pan with small amount of oil. When turning color is apparent, put rice in kettle and cook until done.
- (May have to add water.)
