Ingredients
- 14 cup raw cashews
- 4 ounces pimientos
- 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 12 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups water
Method
- Add all the ingredients except the water to your blender or food processor.
- add enough water to just cover.
- blend until smooth.
- add the rest of the water and blend until thoroughly combined.
- stirring constantly simmer in saucepan until thickened.
- use over macaroni, pizza, lasagna, veggies, etc.
- you can also add agar to make it slice-able.
- it also mixes well with ketchup and barbecue sauce for a wonderful veggie burger topping or tater-tot dip.
