Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Method
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt and butter with a pastry blender.
- Add eggs and incorporate them well, using your hands.
- Form the dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 400°. Pinch off the dough in small amounts and press into miniature muffin tins or pastry molds.
- Bake until light brown, about 10 minutes.
- Fill with your favorite filling.
