Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef or chuck
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 to 1/3 c. ketchup
- 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can water
Method
- Mix well the first 6 ingredients; shape into balls.
- Brown in the shortening.
- Mix the soup with water; pour over meatballs. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
