Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 envelope (3 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix)
- dash of allspice
- pastry for 2 crust pie
- 1/2 c. milk
- dash of pepper
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
Method
- Brown potatoes thoroughly.
- Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
- Combine meat, milk, soup mix, pepper and allspice.
- Mix gently.
- Lightly pat into pastry-lined pie plate.
- Top with potatoes.
- Place top crust over potatoes.
- Seal with flute edges. Cut design in top of pastry.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until browned.
- Serve with warm catsup if desired.
