Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground round
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. pepper
  • 1 can cranberry sauce (jellied)
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Method

  • Combine beef and next 6 ingredients.
  • Mix lightly but thoroughly.
  • Form into small balls (90).
  • Place into skillet. Brown.
  • Combine chili sauce, cranberry sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice in a large pan.
  • Simmer.
  • Pour in meat balls and simmer for 1 hour in sauce.
