- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1/4 c dry breadcrumbs
- 1/3 c minced onion
- 1/4 c milk
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c oil
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- 1 jar (10 oz) grape jelly
Method
- Mix first nine ingredients and shape into balls the size you prefer.
- Pour oil in large skillet, add meat balls and brown. Remove meat balls and drain on paper towels.
- Pour off oil. Heat chili sauce and grape jelly in same skillet until melted.
- Add meat balls and stir until coated.
- Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
