Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 medium onions, chopped fine
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 small jar green olives
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. grated sharp cheese

Method

  • Cook onions, peppers and hamburger until brown; drain.
  • Add ketchup and 3 tablespoons of juice from olives.
  • Let meat mixture cook on low for about 30 minutes.
  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  • In 2-quart casserole dish put a layer of spaghetti and a layer of the meat mixture.
  • Pour soup over meat. Then, another layer of the spaghetti and meat mixture.
  • Place cheese on top.
  • Cut olives in slices and add to top of cheese. Bake in preheated 400° oven for 1 hour.
