Ingredients
- 2 c. white sugar
- 2 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cook sugar, corn syrup and water at 245°.
- While this is cooking, put the egg whites (beaten stiff) in a bowl; pour the first mixture into this, in a fine stream.
- When all is mixed, beat hard for 3 minutes.
- Add vanilla; don't cover until cold.
