- 2 cans white wax beans
- 1 can French-cut green beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 large onion, sliced in rings
- 1 small jar pimento
- chopped or sliced bell pepper, mushrooms (optional)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- black pepper to taste
Method
- Drain beans.
- Place in bowl.
- Next in small saucepan, heat together sugar, vinegar, oil and black pepper.
- Pour over beans. Cover; refrigerate overnight.
- Stir once or twice before serving.
