Ingredients

  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 sticks margarine, melted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla and lemon flavoring
  • 4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 lb. candied cherries, cut up in pieces
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 2 c. flour

Method

  • Mix first 4 ingredients together.
  • Mix really well.
  • Put candied fruit and nuts in bowl and mix with flour.
  • Pour first 4 ingredients into the fruit mixture, working with your hands.
  • Bake at 275° for 2 hours or until knife comes out clean.
  • Bake in greased and floured loaf pans.
