Ingredients
- 1/2 c. corn oil
- 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted (4 oz.)
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- powdered sugar (to dip cookies in)
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
Method
- Mix oil, melted chocolate and sugar.
- Blend in 1 egg at a time until well mixed.
- Add vanilla.
- Stir in salt, flour and baking powder.
- Chill dough overnight.
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Drop teaspoonful of dough balls into confectioners sugar.
- Roll around until coated.
- Place about 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
- Cookies will crack while baking. Add 1/2 cup pecans, if desired.
- Yield:
- 50 cookies.
