Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Beat together eggs, sugar, butter and chocolate.
  • Add vanilla, flour, baking powder and salt, mixing after each addition.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.
  • Bake at 350° for metal pan or 325° for glass pan for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Test to see if done by using the toothpick test.
  • Let cool for 45 minutes before cutting.
