Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp. whole cloves or 1 tsp. fresh mint leaves
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 lemon, cut in half (1/2 for juice, 1/2 for garnish)
- 12 oz. pineapple juice
- 12 oz. chilled lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
- 6 of your favorite tea bags
Method
- Using the 6 tea bags, prepare tea the way you normally would, using 2 1/2 quarts of water and adding the cloves or mint leaves. Remove tea bags and cloves or mint immediately.
- Sweeten to taste while tea is still hot.
- Add pineapple juice and lemon juice; chill.
- After desired temperature, add soda or ginger ale just before serving and stir lightly.
- Serve with lemon garnish in tall, chilled glasses.
