Ingredients
- 1 can lrg can diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup bacon grease
- 2 cup cooked rice
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 * if tomatoes are fresh dice 5 large tomatoes to use
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
Method
- if using fresh tomatoes .... Peel and dice.
- put bacon grease in skillet cook onion.
- cook onion until soft.
- add tomatoes, salt, pepper, garlic powder.
- let cook until it starts boiling.
- turn it down on low.
- all the water will cook out and it will get thick and begin frying.
- mix tomato mixture with the 2 cups of cooked rice.
