Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine or butter
  • 1 1/2 c. vanilla wafers or graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Melt margarine. Mix crumbs together and press into pan, 13 x 9-inch. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs.
  • Top evenly with remaining ingredients. Press down firmly.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 325° to 350° preheated oven (or until lightly browned). Cool thoroughly before cutting into bars.
